We arrived after 10:00 pm so the reception staff was gone. They said that the doors would be unlocked and our keys would be in a basket with our name on it. And that was true! That tells you about the location. Very very safe. The location was excellent and the area is very quiet. It has the vibe of a hostel but private rooms are available. We were two American women in our 70's and loved it. We met a lovely young Chinese student who was traveling solo so she was our adopted granddaughter for two days. Her tech skills in navigating our first day in Jeju City were extremely helpful!

This location is close to the Jeju bus terminal (about a five-minute walk). CU is across the street if you need any convenience store items. You can refill your water on the first floor with the water purifier and have a very simple breakfast at the hostel (bread, jam, orange juice, etc.) You can get new towels and there are also additional bathrooms on the first floor in case someone else is using the restroom in your room.

The location of the property was perfect--we stayed on Jeju to hike Hallasan, and the easy access to the bus station was a great plus. Rooms were clean and quiet. On the night before the hike, I accidentally left my hiking bag on the bus, and was worried I would have to try to make the hike without it (I don't speak Korean and it was late enough that tourist agencies were closed). But, Miss Young-ju at the front desk was able to call the bus company for me and arrange for me to pick it up behind the bus terminal! After that, she gave us some recommendations for stores we could visit around the area. Her service (and English) were wonderful! Overall a lovely experience, and the hike was great!

Good kitchen facilities. Fridge available. Basic breakfast - toast, spreads and juice. Good location right next to bus terminal and airport. Drinking water facilities. Free umbrella use during the rain whilst I was visiting (so helpful!). Bus timetable information. Staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating.
